I first read this book when I was in Elementary-Junior High School over 50 years ago. At that time it rated up with the Hardy Boys books. Reading it today, with all life's experiences and the knowledge gained over 50+ years, it is still a good read. However, there are a number of historical inaccuracies and the positions the heroes are in are totally unrealistic. These positions are the type of positions boys with some imagination would like to find themselves in, however. It would be an interesting read for someone looking for excitement without sex, and a lot of gore. There is a lot of action similar to some of the movie serials of the 1940's-1950's, i.e. Don Winslow, Blackhawk, Flash Gordon, etc.Product details
