I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and I also bought it because I MUST own every Crystal Kaswell rock star book she writes! They are amazing. EVERY single story. This is the 4th book about the band Dangerous Noise and tells the story of Malcolm Strong, defacto leader of the band, lead singer, older brother of Ethan the lead guitarist, older brother to Piper whose story we read in Dangerous Crush. Mal is stoic, quiet, a take-charge kind of guy, responsible, with a side of kink (which his bandages tease him about). Mal does not date, does not do relationships, does not have girlfriends, does not fail in love, and will extricate himself from any woman who gets messy and says she's in love with him. No way. Enter Lacey, assistant to the director on the new Dangerous Noise video featuring only Mal and a bleached blonde actress who's supposed to represent his one true love. The actress is late so Lacey is used as a stand in for the filming and the chemistry between her and Mal is explosive. The actress arrives but the filming is lackluster. Lackey sees Mal after filming and shows him that she could put together a hot video story by splicing the video with her/him and the actress/him. Mal wants Lacey to do it and not her director boss who doesn't get him or the Dangerous Noise music. So begins an interesting business relationship. Mal wants Lacey to direct this video and the next big video for the band. The two also acknowledge the sexual chemistry between them and act on it. HOT scenes! Steamy! But this kid a non-relationship, no strings, either can call when it ends or it ends in 2 months when the band goes on your, no getting messy and falling in love kind of stuff! Lacey agrees at the beginning but guess what happens.....You'll have to read the book to see how it ends. Be aware that Mal mostly raised his younger brother and sister because their parents were off doing research. He always wanted them all to be a family again but the folks rarely chose to come home. Mal needed to be needed so when his siblings found love, he was jealous? lonely? angry? lost?all of the above and more...

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I was half in love with all the guys then Mal strolled in and totally stole my heart! I looked forward to reading this since it was announced and it more than delivers on the promise of an excellent read.
Mal and Lacy love story is so good and sexy as hell. I fell in love with Lacy right away. She was sweet and innocent but had that naughty girl side to her to. I love how she changed her bad boy friends with benefits Mal. Right from the start she rocked his world. I absolutely loved this book. I can't wait to read Encore. Great job Crystal
There's was always something about Mal from the very first book. He finally got his HEA. I'm waiting impatiently for the final book in the series. And the next series to come. This book was a little different. It focused on the characters, not on the band as much as the first three books. I loved it.
I couldn't wait to read Malcolm's story and it didn't disappoint! My heart broke for him. Lacey is his perfect match and amazing in her own way. Their journey is one that filled my heart with joy and the sex scenes were off the charts!!!!! I'm sad that there will only be one more book in this series. I've fallen for all of these characters. If you haven't already read the first three books, start immediately you won't be disappointed!!!!
I was so excited to finally read Mal's story. We already know (if you've read the rest of the series - which you should before reading this one), that Mal likes to be in charge and has had a lot thrown in his shoulders over the years, but glimpses of what's under that have shown through in the other books. Seeing it in its entirety was fantastic and made me love the guy more. Lacey is another fantastic addition to the cast - she's fun, determined, and once again extremely relatable. I'm sad all the guys have had their stories told, but glad to have read them all.
Mal is the older, serious brother of Ethan & Piper (Book 1 & 2); he doesn't believe in relationships, he simply has "friends" in different cities for when he's on tour. Lacey is an aspiring music video director, who just got out of a serious relationship. She's meets Mal after having to stand in for an actress; her fantasy come true. Mal wants her and Lacey wants to be his, neither one wants a serious relationship, so they agree to be friends with benefits, but what happens when love gets in the way and they start developing feelings to each other. Mal will have to learn that is okay to be happy and to want things for himself rather than just looking out for others and Lacey to understand that she deserves all the pleasure in the world. They're perfect for each other. Loved it from beginning to end. Can't wait for the sequel!! ❤️❤️
WOW just Wow! I didn't think I could love Crystal Kaswell's stories any more, but Dangerous Fling is my favorite book so far. This is the tumultuous love story of Mal and Lacey. Mal does everything for everyone else, often at his own determent. He is a commitment-phobe in his personal relationships, preferring to keep things "causal". He is tempted by Lacey, the producer of their latest video and decides to have a time limited exclusive agreement with her. Feelings get in the way, changes in his family occur, and Mal continues to be lost. This is a book of laughs, tears, heart-break and HEAs. I received an ARC for a honest review, however, purchased it as soon as it was available.
