Pavel Goia knew when he was 5 years old that God had called him to speak for Him. Yet by the time Pavel reached his teens, having a good time with friends was far more important to him than his family’s religion. And communist Romania wasn’t exactly friendly to Christians.
But God got his attention one fateful night, and his life took that proverbial U-turn. Pavel made a covenant with God, and his dedication to that covenant was tested almost immediately. But he stayed true, and miracle after miracle followed in behalf of this one young man who trusted every aspect of his life completely to God.
The results of his unwavering loyalty to God? Four thousand pounds of glass suspended midair in a bottomless crate, a law passed by President Ceauşescu that forced a university to allow Pavel to continue his education, a large shipment of Bibles smuggled by unsuspecting police, and a dead boy raised to life—just to name a few.
Oh, yes, miracles still happen—one right after another.

I found all the numerous miracle stories to be quite fascinating, and probably would find it difficult to say anything that has not already been said. Given my sense of the miraculous in my own life, I could relate to those stories (my favorite being the time the police started to look in the woodshed for Bibles and were driven off by some wasps that had been attracted by watermelon rinds). The reason I rate such a book as less than a 5 pertains to the downfall of Ceaucescu on Christmas Day 1989. It surprises me greatly how somebody living in Romania in 1989 could treat that as a non-event, either with the numerous demonstrations and unrest that took place then or else the greater freedom after that.Product details

One Miracle After Another edition by Gregg Budd Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
This is very good book, once you begin reading you want to read till you get to the end at once. It is biography of a man who was growing up in communist country and what was life like there and his experiences as young boy to adulthood Appropriate for any age, spastically for boys to grown up man..
I know You are able because you have done so many miracles in my life. I envey Pavel's prayer life,(we can covet what is good).
I was not shocked at how You brought him through time and time again. You are able My LORD. This adventure of God's working in Pavel's life kept me glued to this computer until it was completed, waking up @ 3 am and reading until 4 or 5 to see what new miracle The Father would present to Pavel and the witness he had become for all followers of The Lord Jesus Christ. The LORD moved on Pavel's convictions and Honored his faithfulness and was just confirmation of Oh How He loves us, and how His word is true. The Lord is so good to me that He steps in even when I have not asked for a miracle and fixes the challenge just to show me how mighty He is. He reads our hearts and even the tiniest matters in our life are important to Him. I just Love Him! I cried at the end of the book for my unbelief. Such a POWERFUL Testimony of God's marvelous acts even today God is able. If He seems silent to you is because you have not asked for His power or even just thought about what He is able to do if we just Honor Him. I give Him Praise. One little note, I go to the Alter every week there is power at the foot of the cross which to me the
Alter represents. Even when the call does not seem to be for me I make it a habit to go and stand or kneel at the foot of the cross, there are Miracles there. Power Great Power form Our LORD. Go get yours this weekend which ever day you worship on He is waiting to give you evidence of His Wonder working Power.
God Bless you all my Brothers ans Sisters in Christ,
Sis. T. Haye
I read this book to my boys as a devotion they were immediately captivated with it. Each time we needed to stop reading they would always ask for, "just one more chapter!" You are a bible hero with skin on. Praise the Lord Y'all are still around. I would suggest you write a series of children stories using your life as the story line. Pavel is the prefect name for the little boy in the
series. Many children would be challenged to faith and faithfulness. I imagine they would quickly become treasured stories for thousands of families. Once it is written you could digitize it. Our world is in desperate need of true heros. Heros of the bible. People who believe.
Thank-you so much! Cheryl Smith
I believe that this may be one of the most inspiring books that I have read in a long time. Pavel Goia's experience can be ours if we take time to investigate how to pray with fervor and trust God's leading, believing that He has a solution for every sincere prayer.
Very powerful book for answered prayers. Any one needing encouragement in this day and age in a chaotic world I strongly suggest reading this book, it will inspire you how much God loves you and loves helping you.
This book describes amazing encounters with God in the life of one of His followers. Very inspiring stories that potentially motivates readers to have a closer walk with Jesus. 2 Chronicles 169 says "The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." When we take God seriously and want to serve Him wholeheartedly, He "shows Himself strong" in our behalf. I see His hand repeatedly in my own Christian experience. I highly recommend this book.
I was most impressed with the fact that here is an ordinary man that would not start the day until he felt assured of the Lord's presence surrounding him before leaving. I truly believe it was his faithful time in personal communion with his Heavenly Father through prayer and the study of the Word, more than anything else, that allowed him to experience One Miracle After Another. Pavel's real life story has not only inspired me to get serious about my daily time in prayer and the Word - to get to know Him better, but also gives my great hope in the reality that Jesus is more than able and earnestly desires to do the impossible in my life, to show His love in a tangible way, and to use me as a humble instrument to reach others with the gospel of Salvation and peace. Praise be to the Father for the example of one who will not violate his conscience no matter what; for one who hears His voice (regularly) and acts upon it faithfully, despite opposition, fear, or doubt. My earnest desire is to join the army of faithful believers who live like Pavel has and does; who put Job 2312 to the test and "do not turn back from the commandment of His lips, and esteem the words of His mouth more than [their] necessary food." That is a real-life connection to God! I highly recommend this book to everyone, skeptic and believer alike.
